Workplace Wellness That Goes Beyond the Workplace

Our faith-based Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides compassionate, practical support for employees and their loved ones, dealing with:

We can work with employers and participants in the Dayton, Ohio area and across the country.

Why Employers Care

Personal Challenges Don’t Stay at Home

When someone is struggling in one or more areas of life, it can be difficult to give their best at work.

Over time, unresolved personal challenges can contribute to absenteeism, reduced productivity, workplace tension, lower morale, burnout, and turnover. When a valued employee leaves, the organization also loses the experience, knowledge, and investment that person represents.

Providing a trusted place to turn can help employees address concerns earlier, move toward healthier patterns at home and at work, and potentially reduce the costs associated with unresolved problems and turnover.

What Makes Our Approach Different?

  1. Faith-Integrated and Holistic. We respectfully meet people where they are and look at the whole person – physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual wellbeing, including life purpose. Our Christian faith shapes the way we serve with compassion, preserve dignity without judgment, encourage hope, and believe in restoration.
  2. Affordable By Design. Coaching and mentoring are offered without a required fee, although donations are welcome. The Map for Life has a one-time tuition investment, with coaching available long after graduation.
  3. Couples and Family Restoration. Sometimes helping the employee means helping someone they love. We routinely work with spouses, couples, and family members as appropriate – regardless of where they live.
  4. Personable and Accessible. People need someone who cares, listens, and will go the extra mile. That can include flexible scheduling, after-hours appointments, and a lifeline between appointments when challenges arise.
  5. Practical Life Skills. We help people apply practical tools for self-care, stress management, communication, conflict resolution, and other everyday challenges – building healthier habits for navigating life.
  6. Measurable Results. Our approach is designed to produce real, trackable growth – see the results below.
  7. Comfortable With Complexity. People’s problems are interconnected. We understand that. We help connect the pieces rather than sending people in several different directions – working across multiple concerns and, when appropriate, with multiple people.

When a Few Sessions Aren’t Enough

Short-term assistance has an important place. But many life challenges need more time and personal attention.

That’s where our Map for Life program can offer something very different. The Map is a comprehensive 26-week program, and support doesn’t end at graduation. Participants often continue coaching for months afterward – helping them build on and sustain their growth – with no additional investment. We’ve served participants across the country – from Florida to Alaska and the East Coast to California.

It’s a unique pathway for employees who may need deeper, longer-term support to achieve more meaningful and sustainable change.

of our Map for Life program graduates have improved their Total Balanced Health scores.

Already Have an EAP? We Can Complement It.

You don’t necessarily need to replace what you already have.

We can provide an additional faith-based resource for employees and families facing more complex, interconnected, or longer-term challenges – particularly when traditional short-term assistance may not be enough.

We can help fill the gap when life gets more complicated.

How It Works

A Simple, Confidential Path to Support

1

Open the door.

An employee can reach out directly, or an employer supervisor or HR representative can simply let someone who is struggling know that confidential support is available. If this is new to you, we can advise how to approach the employee respectfully.

2

Start with a conversation.

We listen, identify the most immediate concerns, and help determine the best path forward.

3

Match the support to the need.

That might include a few focused conversations, coaching and mentoring, couples or family support, one of our assessment tools, or enrolling in the Map for Life program.

4

Focus on meaningful progress.

Our goal is to help people develop healthier patterns, stronger relationships, practical life skills, and a better foundation for moving forward.

Employee privacy and confidentiality are respected throughout the process.
