Coming Back to Life – YOUR Story

Two thousand years ago, Jesus did something that changed everything. He raised his friend Lazarus back to life after he had been dead for four days.

Think about that. Four days. Not a close call. Not almost gone. Gone.

Jesus raising Lazarus back to life

That miracle became one of the reasons crowds lined the streets when Jesus rode into Jerusalem on what we now call Palm Sunday. People had seen death reversed. They had witnessed life returning to someone who was completely, undeniably dead.

It’s a powerful story. And it leads directly into the Easter story we celebrate every year.

But what about YOUR story?

When You Feel Dead

Have you ever felt dead – not physically, but in other ways that cut just as deep?

Emotionally dead – from processing too much pain for too long. When you’ve been through so much that you just feel numb. When nothing moves you anymore because feeling anything at all hurts too much.

Relationally dead – isolated from breakups or betrayals. When the people you trusted have hurt you. It may feel safer to be alone, even though walls may go up between you.

Spiritually dead – thinking, “If there is a God, how could so many bad things be happening in the world? How could so many bad things be happening to me – or to someone I care about?”

Maybe you feel far from God. That’s understandable. You’re not alone in feeling this way.

But you don’t have to live that way.

The Question Jesus Asked

Jesus used to ask people a simple question: “Do you want to be healed?”

I’ve learned that some people don’t think it’s possible, or think that they don’t deserve it.

Jesus’ question cuts through everything else. Because wanting to be healed – being ready to come back to life – is the first step.

Coming Back to Life

You can come back to life – like Lazarus – from whatever you’ve been through.

You can come back from the pain you’ve carried; from the isolation you’ve experienced; from the distance you feel from God. You can come back to the life you were meant to live.

Love and comfort can help someone come back to life.

Your pain doesn’t have to be permanent.

God has shown us and our mission a practical way to meet you where you are and share his power and love to help you heal. It’s not through empty promises or quick fixes. Here, you’ll find real support, real community, and real steps forward.

Your Story Isn’t Over – Come Back To Life!

The Easter story is about life defeating death and hope breaking through despair. God made a way when there seemed to be no way.

That same power – the power that raised Lazarus, the power that changed everything 2,000 years ago – is available to you.

Do you want to be healed and come back to life? We’re here. And we’d love to walk with you. Check out our Map for Life program to learn more.
